I am using the Ubuntu distro with the [linux-surface/linux-surface](https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface)'s Linux Kernel on a Microsoft Surface Pro 9. After updating Ubuntu, I couldn't boot into the OS again. [GitHub Issue](https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/issues/1516) Error message: [unable to handle page fault for address](https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/issues/1516#issuecomment-2273105299) The issue appears to stem from Intel IPU6 module compatibility. I resolved this by: 1. Enter the recovery mode with Kernel version below 6.10 2. Enter a root shell 3. [Add a blocklist config](https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/issues/1516#issuecomment-2269662870) 4. reboot
